At the back of this release, a number of media houses reported that there are strong indications are that President Cyril Ramaphosa will resign as state president late evening on Thursday, 01 December 2022. In addition to that, the reports also suggested that the President may also resign as ANC leader and withdraw from contesting the elective conference at Nasrec later this month.
