The Big Favour has been on air on East Coast Radio since 2003. Over the years, Damon Beard - and his faithful sponsors - has helped to make hundreds of listeners' dreams come true - no matter how big or how small. From building a house for 3 abandoned children; to a fully paid-for funeral for a family who couldn't afford to lay their mom to rest; to a night's hotel accommodation for a woman facing life threatening surgery - and whose only request was to spend quality family time away before the operation. The Big Favour airs every Thursday at 7.40am and again on Mondays at 10.23am.
