Do you know what the law says about your rights when you use credit? Up to 72% of consumers live on credit and therefore it is very important to know what the law says about your consumer rights even before you apply.
The National Credit Act protects you in various ways, but you also have to protect yourself by ensuring that your credit transactions adhere to the law. The Act was introduced to protect the economic and social welfare of all South Africans, promote an equitable and transparent credit market and protect consumers and their rights.
