Easter weekend is here, and it's prime time for fishing with a four-day break to catch a mix of non-edible and edible species. From Kob to Grey Sharks, Beam to Snoek, there's action across the coast, including epic harbor spots, big catches, and more. With the Durban Ski Boat Festival just around the corner, and a slew of hotspots, there's plenty for every angler—whether you’re at sea or on the dam over the long weekend
We have notable catches from the North Coast to the South Coast. Durban Bay is on fire while up north, competition anglers promise exciting results. The South Coast has seen strong showings of non-eds, alongside some rockcod and kob and Adam tells us about the baits these species are feeding on. Not to mention the Junior Surf Casting Championships, which featured young anglers bringing in over 590 fish from Amanzimtoti.
Whether it's fishing the still waters of the Midlands or the surf, the Easter weekend offers something for everyone.
