Police release identity of man allegedly behind the murder of Soweto girl

Gauteng police are hunting a man who allegedly raped and murdered a six-year-old girl in Soweto. According to police the young girl was playing with other children when the man called her to his rented shack at one of the houses in Orlando. "[He] allegedly raped and killed the girl inside the shack," said the police’s Mavela Masondo. He said the incident was reported to the police, who immediately began searching for the man. Phemelo speaks to Kaya News reporter Keneiloe Huma who visited the family.
