Eastern Cape flooding: 3 people confirmed dead

Three people have been confirmed dead as heavy and disruptive rains continue to wreak havoc in parts of the Eastern Cape leaving thousands of people destitute. Nelson Mandela Bay has been hardest hit by the latest bout of severe weather as houses, roads and bridges have been submerged in water. The flooding saw some motorists stuck on the roads, while authorities attended to affected areas. The SA Weather Service issued a level 6 warning for disruptive rains in the province.
