Am I fast enough to win the Comrades Marathon?

Today on Ask Coach Parry we have a fabulous question which perhaps we would never ask. Phuti Mohale says he wants to win the Comrades Marathon in 2015. His problem is pacing.

He says he is naturally a fast runner. His first Comrades Marathon was in 2013 and he finished in 8.50. In 2014 he finished in 7.20. What does it take to win the Comrades Marathon?
