Yesterday more than 1000 people picketed in Bo Kaap following a video of a young female detailing her years of alleged abuse at the hands of her paternal grandfather. We want to the chat to Osman Shabodien, who is the Chairperson of Bo-Kaap Civic and Ratepayers Association. Now the video has since been viewed more than 90 000 times and sparked conversation throughout many homes as the individual accused is well known within the Muslim community.
