Is South Africa ready for level one of the national lockdown?

As the country's Covid-19 numbers continue their downward trajectory, it is widely expected that President Cyril Ramaphosa will announce a countrywide move to lockdown level 1 sometime this week. On Monday, less than 1 000 new coronavirus cases were recorded, compared daily cases of between 10 000 and 15 000 cases a day at the height of the pandemic back in July. But is the country ready to relax restrictions even further, and what can we expect from a level 1 lockdown?
