Policing in crisis in South Africa
--:--
Public outrage continues to grow following the shocking killing of 16-year-old Nathaniel Julius, a boy with Downs Syndrome – in Eldorado Park. As we know, anger reached boiling point on Thursday when violent clashes broke out between residents and police. Protesters took to the streets, calling for the removal of the officers involved in the death of the teen. The matter is now in the hands of the Independent Police Investigative Directorate.
