Health specialist on Covid 19 and medical supply shortage

With the number of covid 19 increasing at a rapid pace, the question now is does SA have enough medical supplies to combat the number of cases in the country? While the health department says it has sufficient supplies "depending on the number of people who succumb to Covid-19", spokesperson Popo Maja said plans were in place to fly to countries that could supply medication and medical equipment while Gift of the Givers founder Imtiaz Sooliman said medical supplies and equipment were running out globally, due to the panic buying of masks, gloves and sanitizers.
