Proposed changes to city traffic by-law open for public comment

This week the City of Cape Town started the public participation process for the amended Traffic By-law that will target the most dangerous and unlawful drivers on the City’s road. If the by law is approved and implemented traffic officers will be able to clamp down motorist who are driving recklessly, without a licence, or under the influence of drugs or alcohol and be able to impound your vehicle without prior notice.
