In Being Green this week, Glynis Crook learns about the Foundation for Environmental Education’s Eco-Schools programme. It’s active in some 67 countries and has been implemented in South Africa since 2003 by the wildlife and environment society, WESSA. Today more than 600 schools across the country are registered, with 106 of those in the Western Cape. Schools wanting to find out how to register for the programme can find out more on: http://wessa.org.za/wessa-eco-schools/
