CT women allegedly scammed of thousands of rands by local travel agency
--:--
Last week, we came across a shocking story of two Capetonian women who were meant to leave for a trip to Turkey and Dubai, but were allegedly scammed by a travel operator. After handing over more than R50 000 for the trip, the agent went off the radar.
VOC editor Tasneem Adams spoke to the women to find out how it all went pear shaped and filed this report.
Note: We have tried to contact Royal International Travel and Tours on the various number that can be found on their website however our calls have gone unanswered. We have also reached out to Royal International Travel and Tours via email to request comment however they did not respond to the request.
