Beachgoer details Clifton incident at parliament inquiry
--:--
Yesterday the individuals involved in the alleged “racist” incident that transpired on Clifton Forth Beach toward the end of last year, appeared before Parliament’s Portfolio Committee on Environmental Affairs for an inquiry. The group allege that beachgoers were escorted off the beach by private security company Professional Protection Alternatives (PPA) on 23 December, who in turn have said they were assisting City of Cape Town law enforcement officers after two teenage girls were allegedly raped. Police however said only one case of rape was reported but was later withdrawn.
