TOUCHING 100 LIVES - CHAMPIONS OF CHANGE

--:--
• Champions for Change is a small NPC started up in June 2014 by two sisters, both professionals (One a retired nurse and clinical instructor, the other a headteacher; both are trained in Child Protection and safeguarding.)

• It’s a victim support centre with a focus on victim rehabilita-tion for children.

• Champions for Change empowers children through their workshops and counselling programmes for them to realise that they don’t have to feel ashamed; giving them the oppor-tunity to talk about the abuse and heal so that they can be normal functioning adults one day.

• At the moment, they do not have a private room for counsel-ling to make the children feel at ease.

• To aid this excellent initiative, Hot Cares will be donating a 2.4 by 2.4 wendy house which will serve as a counselling room at an estimated value of R9 000.
