Last week we spoke to residents from the Egoli Informal Settlement occupying privately owned land. Which they allegedly occupied 25 years ago.
A few weeks ago the community hosted a protest and handed over a memorandum to officials highlighting their demands which include access to land and service delivery
Now today we will again be picking up the discussion, this time though we will speak to the owner of the land, who claims the Egoli community has occupied illegally less than 25 years ago
