Protests calling for a National Shutdown to go ahead this Friday

Organisers of Friday's planned national shutdown have renewed their appeal to ANC leaders to join their action aimed at persuading President Jacob Zuma to step down. This comes despite the ANC's rallying behind Zuma today after an NWC meeting. Organisers from a number of NGOs have told the media that the protest will go ahead on Friday.
