A South African-born start-up is rewriting the rules of car ownership and potentially the future of mobility. We’re joined in studio by Themba Mgimeti, engineer, former Bolt manager, and co-founder of CarShareNova, the new peer-to-peer car-sharing platform shaking up the rental industry.

CarShareNova works much like Airbnb, but for cars: vehicle owners rent out their premium vehicles directly to verified users through a fully digital, AI-powered marketplace. With more than 250 cars valued at over R200 million already listed, the platform offers renters more choice and gives owners the chance to turn a depreciating asset into steady income.
