Theme : this week is moving and balance once we have warmed up.
Exercise 1: Seated : Breathing with arm circles
We are now going to learn to transfer weight from one leg to the other with bent knees.
In this exercise you are using hip, knee and ankle joints while keeping your spine straight.
Exercise 2: Sitting to standing. Stand on left foot with no weight on right foot just relaxed next to left foot.
Bend left knee sliding right foot to the right and transferring weight to right leg on bent right knee and then straighten right leg, bringing your left foot to your right foot in a relaxed position.
Repeat to the left.
Please practice this in the coming days for keeping the hips knees and ankles mobile and to keep your brain focused on coordination.
Please Note: There will be no exercises given for the last week of June.
