NEHAWU intensifies strike at University of Pretoria

Classes and activities at the University of Pretoria remain suspended due to the ongoing strike by
workers affiliated to NEHAWU over salaries. The workers say they are more resolute and are not
going to withdraw from downing tools. NEHAWU says it has intensified the strike which has affected
operations at the university. NEHAWU is demanding a 7 percent salary increase and the university is
