South Africans are waking up smiling all over the world thanks to the Springboks nail-biting victory over England at the Rugby World Cup.

The Boks beat the English by just 1 point during last night's semi-final securing the 16-15 win along with our place in the final.

Here on home soil, restaurants and pubs were transformed into party venues as rugby fans gathered around screens to witness the epic clash.

The massive crowd at Monte Casino's Piazza erupted in celebration as the final whistle rung out over the open-air arena.
