National Shutdown: will it happen or not and should we be prepared?

Is it strike season or is there something more going on? Nehawu - an interdict was granted yesterday, but workers have said it does not apply to all of them or all industrial action - they are still pushing for 10% increases.
SAPU - The SA Police Union plans to strike on Friday - the police have said essential workers are not allowed to strike, so police stations should be operational. And this is all leading to one thing - a possible national shutdown.
