An employee referral is when an employee puts forward a candidate for a job opportunity within their organization. Referring a friend can seem like an easy win for all parties. First, it’s a great way to help your company’s talent pipeline, as referrals are cheaper, faster, and make for better performing hires, according to a LinkedIn report. It’s also a way to build goodwill within your network, and even earn yourself a potential referral bonus!
