My name is Uveka Rangappa and I would so love to be the host of your next Solid Gold Podcast series.
Now you might know me as a television and radio news anchor and the host of shows like Great Expectations, Health Matters, and Rights and Recourse. I've been a journalist for over 26 years now. And I have worked with some of the greats in radio and television. I MC and host various events from weddings and funerals to award ceremonies, webinars and conferences, and I moderate panels.
I am a wife and a mom of two. I am a middle child, which is my excuse for when I'm badly behaved or drink too much tequila. I am a great believer in karma and the universe. So I'm just dying for some candid real conversations about parenting. Let's not pretend it's all cuddles and kisses it can be a damned nightmare if we're being honest. Health and wellness, I've had my fair share of health challenges. Mental health, we all know someone right? Relationships and sex. Let's admit it, we all need some help in this department at some time or another. Finances - God knows I need help, and feel stupid to ask sometimes. And the list goes on.
I've interviewed presidents, politicians, singers, actors and ordinary people doing extraordinary things. And I've loved every minute of it.
