Life of a “Yachtie”, in conversation with Tayla Aboud @the_galley_girl

--:--
Tayla is a born and bread Durban girl who, like many young people, went on to pursue a life abroad working on the yachts.

After years of sailing the seas, she’s now reached the point in her career (which she believes comes sooner for women than men) where she’s navigating the transition of finding a space for her skill-set back on land.

We speak about common challenges that Yachties face, the pleasures, pressures and passion as well as Yachting recruitment agency, Float, that offers professional Wellness Services and counselling to Yachties currently abroad and those navigating reintegration.
