The RDA Fringe - The Campus Radio Session

--:--
The South African radio landscape boasts nineteen campus radio stations based at tertiary learning institutions. Campus based radio has a rich history in the local media landscape being the voice of the youth by the youth, acting as a training ground and ultimately creating tangible employment opportunities for those involved. Despite the value that campus radio sector adds to the listening landscape, commercial clients, and educational institutions (through experiential learning and marketing), the sector receives little formalised assistance and training. In this session the sector gets to discuss their challenges in amplifying their sector.
