Colourism and racism once again became hot topics this week- and the timing was more appropriate than you think! Anti-Racism Week is commemorated annually between the 14th and 21st in the
“Human Rights” Month of March. The year of 2021 carries the theme “Youth standing up against racism”, seeking to foster a global culture of tolerance, equality and anti-discrimination. Anti-Racism Manager at the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation and co-ordinator of the Anti-Racism Network SA Busiswe Nkosi joined Real Talk to tell us more about a week long campaign tackling the long standing issue. Also hear social media users response to the question: “Is racism is more 'relevant' to your parents than you?”
