Also includes interviews with Derek and Guy - and brand new tracks from Buttery's new album "Nadi", and unreleased tracks by Gripper, including a transposition of Salif Keita's "Ama Na Ding".

Hip Hop, since its inception, has meant and held differing levels of significance. At first, thought of as the music genre for the rebellious and outcast to being a social commentator for the minority and their social ills. At its core, it was founded on four elements, namely, break-dancing, rapping/emceeing, DJ'ing and graffiti and evolved to having a fifth element, Knowledge of Self added to it. The Element hones in on the one true element of Hip Hop – namely the LOVE of Hip Hop, through the eras, across borders and through it’s different genres.
