Have you ever thought of a product or craved something to eat during the day and logged into Facebook only to see a pop up ad for it immediately? J Sbu is convinced Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook are spying on him, because this has happened to him several times.

So, what is true and what is fiction?

Yes, Facebook tracks every website and app you visit whether you are on or off the social media platform. There is a way one can prevent this from happening, though.

J Sbu may have wanted to use this helpful information before some, shall we say, "questionable" ads popped up on his Facebook profile whilst he was logged on today.
