A set of tyres for dad's birthday? Do practical gifts mean more?

On Thursday Stacey and J Sbu spoke about a tweet they saw this week.

It seems the Twitter streets have missed the memo on this because a sweet moment between daughter and father has turned into a heated debate.

Dimpho, shared a picture of her dad who is seen with the biggest smile next to his birthday gift from his loving daughter. She bought her dad tyre's as gift for his big day but she is now being dragged on social media for gifting her dad with something they believe is a cheap and not very well thought out gift. We disagree, we think its so practical and thoughtful.

But we followed up by KZN what they thought of the gift and would they prefer getting a practical gift versus something of more material value?

Listen to what KZN had to say.
