The fact that an Anglo American CEO can speak for 30 minutes without reference to De Beers shows how this company has changed in the post-Oppenheimer era. When asked to elaborate on De Beers and the diamond market, Mark was very clear: diamonds are in a very special place with a great future, but the industry needs to innovate, all the way from the resource, through to how it interfaces with customers.
