The girlfriend of one of the victims of the accident, Kayla Rix, has spoken out and asked for prayers for her partner Mike van Rooyen, a 32-year-old admin manager who lives in Hillcrest. According to Kayla, she was halfway through making dinner when she got the call about the accident. Mike was found unconscious on the scene.
