The impact of Covid-19 has been devastating for businesses of every kind, from loss of business entirely to finding ways to shift to e-commerce rapidly, entrepreneurs in South Africa are being forced to adapt fast. The lockdown restrictions saw many people losing their jobs and many businesses being forced to shut down due to loss of revenue streams. But this isn’t the case for some businesses as they were able to maximize on sales and come up with ways to win clients and sell their products even during these trying times. Siphosihle Mbuli speaks to Business Analyst Vusi Maupa about the impact Covid-19 has had on businesses. She also hears from Tsholofelo Minyuku, business owner of a beauty care range who saw an opportunity during the lockdown.
