During the lockdown period we have seen many changes in how we live, work and interact. The corporate space in particular has been the hardest hit when it comes to operations, logistics, human resources and remote work capabilities. Employers wonder whether employees who are working from home are being productive or not, as it can be difficult to balance work and personal life while you're at home. Today on The Covid Report we are joined by Nelisa Ngqulana, Managing Director of PR Trends ZA. She speaks to us about surveillance apps and monitoring tools that employers use to track productivity of staff who are working from home. We also spoke to Lisa King from Fluxman Attorneys about the legality of employers using monitoring tools or surveillance apps to track work from home productivity.
