Downs vs Chiefs: Someone Is Going To Cry

--:--
The Premier Soccer League (PSL) title race is reaching it’s boiling point, with log-leaders Kaizer Chiefs taking on defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns in a potential title decider. Chiefs are three points clear of Downs ahead of the fixture and could extend their lead with a victory, while Masandawana have the chance to draw level with the Soweto giants if they win the fixture.

Speaking to SL Radio on The Carwash podcast, former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Teko Modise argued “For Kaizer Chiefs, with their star playing Nurkovic being out, I think that’s a huge blow. With Mamelodi Sundowns, if they don’t win this game with all the problems that Kaizer Chiefs have, Lebo (Manyama) having to go for late fitness tests, Khama (Billiat) not being himself, for [Downs] it’ll be either you win this game or nothing at all”.

Modise later adds, “Someone is going to cry, someone is crying on Thursday”
