Supersport United want to return to the Caledonian Stadium.

--:--
In July of 2019 the The Tshwane metro said that refurbishment of the Caledonian soccer stadium would commence as soon as a contractor was appointed. By October the City had reportedly received six bids with the adjudication process was finalized. The next step is approval by the Bid Adjudication Committee and the final appointment of a contractor was expected in November, although we are still waiting for news on when construction will begin. The iconic stadium which was built in 1903 in the Pretoria inner city is in a very bad state, with no electricity or proper sewerage water connection system since 2012 and has apparently become a haven for drug users. SuperSport United CEO Stan Matthews has other plans for The Caledonian, he wants Matsatatsantsa a Petori to return there and make it their permanent home venue. Matthews spoke to Kaya FM's Sport's Khuliso Nemarimila.
