Jay Badza’s name prior to media personality Bonang Matheba‘s reality show Being Bonang, we also didn’t know of his brand and marketing agency Orchard On 25, of which he is founder and CEO. However, the award-winning branding, marketing and public relations expert, has been handling big marketing, brand and public relations projects for over a decade. With his new venture, Orchard 25, Badza says he plans to blow off the roof with more award-winning campaigns.
Badza dropped out of a Bachelor of Arts in Motion Picture for marketing over 10 years ago, after falling in love with public relations. Badza went on to do BBA Marketing management with IMM. He then worked for Meropa Communications, considered one of South Africa’s biggest PR Agencies. His time at DNA Brand Architects saw him take on two roles; Business Director and manager for media personality Bonang Matheba.
Badza is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper for the Soweto Hub in South Africa. He has also participated in the Shape Africa Summits for the World Economic Forum in Cape Town South Africa in 2013 and Rabat Morocco in 2015.
