A research by Human Science Research Council (HSRC) have revealed what drives anti-immigrant hate in South Africa. Mobs have attacked foreign-owned businesses on the streets of some cities in the country. This has caused outrage across the continent. On line is Senior Research specialist at HSRC Dr Steven Gordon.
