Vusi Nova born Vusi Nongxo, is a South African Afro-Soul singer. He was born in New Brighton Township, Port Elizabeth.
He has a great bond with his family. Loves playing chess, polo cross and watching movies. I’m a junkie for fast cars, speed and music (of course). He says his music is all about sharing personal stuff with the world because it connects him to his audience. Surviving financially is not easy because of piracy and illegal downloads.
Vusi Nova moved to Johannesburg to pursue his dream and got signed at Muthaland Entertainment under the guidance of legendary businessman Lance Stehr. He released his first single “I’D RATHER GO BLIND” to much praise from music critics.
He has done numerous collaborations with a number of musicians and opened for a number of international artists that have both shaped and inspired him throughout his career.
He once said He’s a big R Kelly fan and would dream of working with him in the future. Has that changed??? In light of #SurvivingRKelly
The single titled Ndizakulinda, from one of his albums is all about heartbreak and how Vusi broke his promise to "wait" for his then partner.
Actor, Sisa Hewana, who plays Skhumbuzo on Isidingo is his brother. Vusi Nova and actor Sisa Hewana share the same father. The singer had this to say about his brother, “He’s just an amazing brother He’s always fighting my fights, I’ve had to break away from that the older that I got, we fight all the time but we love each other.”
