Amy Biel movie

To mark the 25 anniversary of the death of anti-apartheid activist Amy Biehl, VOC spoke to the producers of the film commemorating her life. Biehl was an American graduate of Stanford University and a white anti-apartheid activist who was murdered by protesting residents in Gugulethu. Her story has been described as one that speaks to the realities of the struggle against the racist regime and the impact it had in the lives of both those suffering the scourge of apartheid and those actively fighting the system. Drive Time presenter, Shafiq Morton, spoke to Biehl's mother, Linda; the film's media manager, Gabriella Allen; producer Johanna Baldwin; and director, Karzan Kader.
