One of the many exciting musical events in Cape Town during August is the visit to this country of the Grammy Award winning American orchestra, The Minnesota Orchestra with their famous conductor Osmo Vanska. The tour has been made possible by the company known as Classical Movements which is based in America and which is well known for taking major orchestras and choirs on tour around the world.
