Six weeks ago, the Ombudsman for Short-Term Insurance released the 2017 Annual Report in which acts of nature featured prominently. 13% of all complaints submitted concerned such claims. For many who don't know what Deanne's office actually does, the amount of formal complaints finalised stood at 9962 and recovered more than 87 billion for consumers.
