The Proteas are expecting a good batting wicket for the second Test against India at SuperSport Park in Centurion.

The Proteas head into the match leading the series 1-0 and will be targeting a series victory.

A lot of talk throughout the week has been about the team’s pace attack and it is believed that the coach, Ottis Gibson, will go with pace again.

South Africa’s batting at Newlands in Cape Town raised some questions, however, the deck in the Mother City was conducive to bowling.

The Proteas’ opening batsman, Aidan Markram, says his home field is generally good for batting.

The second Test gets underway tomorrow morning at 10:00.
