Ernst Stapelberg will make his Toyota Free State Cheetahs debut against Western Province

Ernst Stapelberg will be making his Toyota Free State Cheetahs debut on Saturday when the team tackles Western Province at Newlands in the Currie Cup.

After arriving at the Cheetahs last month, the player was side-lined immediately and had to undergo surgery to threat appendicitis.

Stapelberg will be starting at flyhalf in the match, while the coach Daan Human opted to retain the exciting flanker, Daniel Maartens on the bench.

Human told OFM Sport that after Saturday’s game everybody will know who Stapelberg is.

Saturday’s Currie Cup clash in Cape Town kicks off at 15:00.
