OFM News agri editor Sabrina Dean spoke to SAPS ating national commissioner Lieutenant Genral Kgomotso Phahlane following his participation in a panel discussion on rural safety at Agri SA's congress in Pretoria last week. They discuss his viewpoint on the panel discussion, as well as some issues around the role of community involvement in rural safety. He also reiterates that the SAPS has declared farm attacks as a priority crime, adding that plans are to allocate adequate resources to address the issue:
