Farmers urged to help contain swine fever outbreak

OFM News’ agri editor Sabrina Dean speaks to the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Senzeni Zokwana, about African Swine Fever outbreaks in Free state and North West. Zokwana says they are very concerned about the situation in Free State as infected pigs may have been sold at an auction. He is urging the public and other farmers to be very careful about purchasing possibly sick pigs or diseased meat. He says hundreds of pigs have also been destroyed in North West:
