In this episode of Created in the Image of God on Radio Cape Pulpit, host Sylvia Colville presents Episode 15 of the Behold the Bride series, titled "A Tabernacle for His Glory."
Drawing from her 2018 visit to Israel and the massive ancient stones of the Western Wall tunnels in Jerusalem, Sylvia shares a prophetic moment from January of this year when she heard the Lord say, "I want to build you into a tabernacle for my glory." She explores what it means for believers to be the dwelling place of God—the bride of Christ as the New Jerusalem, the Lamb's wife, and the tabernacle filled with His glory.
The episode focuses on Jesus Christ as the Cornerstone—the foundation and alignment for everything we build in our lives. Sylvia emphasizes the importance of spending time with Jesus in the secret place, allowing Him to shape our days with godly wisdom. She teaches from Ephesians 2:19–22 about believers as living stones being built together into a holy temple, and from 1 Peter 2:1–5 about our calling as a holy priesthood.
She also highlights Christ's patience in building His church (2 Peter 3:9) and issues a solemn warning to master builders from 1 Corinthians 3:9–17—that each person's work will be tested by fire, and only what is built on the foundation of Jesus Christ will endure.
The episode closes with an encouragement to meditate on the teaching notes, continue daily working on your wedding dress, and a preview of next week's topic: The Judgment Seat of Christ.
