
Gauteng targets 10 police stations in GBVF fight

Gauteng is prioritising 10 police stations with high numbers of reported rape cases as the province steps up its response to gender-based violence and femicide. The plan includes additional policing and victim support, strengthened Thuthuzela Care Centres and sexual offences courts, 1,022 GBV brigades across 122 high-risk precincts and 56 additional social workers.
