Shudufhadzo Vhengani is a Laboratory Technician
in the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmacology at the
University of the Witwatersrand. She holds a BSc Honours in
Genetics and Developmental Biology, with research focused
on neuropsychiatric genetics and schizophrenia. Beyond the laboratory, she is the Founder and Chief Director of a non-profit
company, Complexly Designed NPC, an organisation
dedicated to advancing brain health awareness, Functional
Neurological Disorder (FND) advocacy, and community
education through science, storytelling, and public
engagement. She is passionate about making neuroscience
accessible and inspiring healthier, more informed
communities.
